Welcome to the Killuminati Foundation website!!

GO GREEN FOR RESCUES IN JULY!! HELP WIN $5K FOR SPRINGFIELD RESCUES!!

The “Go Green for Animals!” project is dedicated to bringing awareness to the importance of animal rescues across the country. We plan to launch this program in the Springfield, MO region growing to the Midwest and then nationwide based on funding. Of the 74.8 million pets in America, only 10% were adopted *For every animal that gets adopted, one gets put down. (Although in our area it is more realistically - for every 10 dogs in animal control - only 2 will make it out alive.)

When you see pink you think breast cancer awarenes….Yellow = livestrong! And now when you see kelly green you will think RESCUE AN ANIMAL! Don’t shop! Adopt! We will use the Pepsi grant to buy green collars that say “ADOPT ME” in white for all animals available for adoption to sport around town. This will increase awareness, brand the color for the cause, help increase adoptions, and therefore lowering the euthanization rates. PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD TO VOTE DAILY FOR GO GREEN FOR RESCUES TO HELP US WIN $5k!!

Your special friend will show everyone that they have a guardian angel with a designated “My Angel Loves Me” sign at all adoption events and on the KF wesbite. To become a guardian angel or for more information, email Britni at secretary@kfdogs.org - or join through the PayPal drop down link to the left.

The Killuminati Foundation did not begin as a rescue group; however, we’ve responded to the need. In Missouri had 295, 723 dogs end up in animal control/shelters in 2008 alone – compared to the 193,001 in 2007 – that means there were 102,722 MORE dogs in just one year that found themselves sitting on death row in Missouri (and only 2,326 more adoptions.) The three animal control locations with the highest euthanization rates in the state (ranging from 70-90% each) are all located within about an hour and a half from us. The Killuminati Foundation tries to focus on locations with high euthanization rates, and the dogs that typically don’t stand a chance once they are in animal control – IE, the black dogs, the injured/sick dogs, and pitbulls. We want to help all dogs by getting them healthy, rehabilitated, and adopted into their forever homes to live a long, happy life. We also offer vet assistance to families in Greene, Christian, Taney, & Stone County with a dog suffering from a life threatening illness or procedure. Funding is granted based on availability, need, and approval voted upon by the KF Board of Directors. For more information, click on the Vet Help tab or email us at inspirelives@yahoo.com to get an application.

Where does the name Killuminati come from?!

The name of our foundation is inspired by the second dog I rescued - Killuminati - we called her Nati (pronounced Knot-eee) for short. She was a stray for six months, and therefore had a very strong will. She was absolutely stunning - just gorgeous. She died just a few months after her first birthday. It was devastating, but she has inspired me to start this foundation in her memory.  (Nati is pictured below as well as the top of the website.)Her namesake comes from the African philosophy representing a Global Revolutionary change. A spiritual awareness, a mental change, a physical change, and a change in your destiny. Killuminati initiates change in the mind, body, and spirit. We must know from whence We came, how We came to be lost, how to get back, and how not to stray again.  ”You must first recognize the need to change. This does not necessarily imply that there is anything wrong with the way you are. It means you are willing to do better and be better at whatever it is you do.” IYANLA VANZANT
