Speed Dating w/ Your Dog!!
MUST LOVE DOGS!! Have you been looking for the perfect mate? Want to find that special someone but not sure where or how? Laws of averages may make you think “As much as I’m at Walmart, one of these days I’ve got to meet someone, right?!” Not necessarily….What better way to meet someone that loves dogs just like you than to participate in the Speed Dating w/ Your Dog Fundraiser on Friday, March 26th at Icon Nightclub downtown?!

Reserve your spot for the Killuminati Foundation’s Speed Dating w/ Your Dog on March 26th! This event will be just like a traditional speed dating event - you will meet with other dog lovers for a short period of time and decide if you would like to see them again and explore the possibilities of a relationship. The only difference with our event….YOU GET TO BRING YOUR DOG!! (If you love dogs, but don’t have one, that’s ok too! You can still participate!) We will have different age brackets for the speed dating rounds so you can meet local singles who are living similar lifestyles as you and your pooch.

Bracket #1: ages 21-29
Bracket #2: ages 30-39
Bracket #3: ages 40 and above

Don’t know what to say to someone new? Awkward moments? What better way to break the ice than to ask about his/her dog? See how your potential mate interacts with their dog - and yours! Besides, you may be interested in pursuing a relationship - but if your dogs don’t get along - better to know up front that it’s not a match!! :)

Support the Killuminati Foundation and find your perfect match!! Mark your calendars today, help spread the word, and email us to reserve your spot for this event! (limited spots available)

When: Friday, March 26th
Where: Icon Nightclub downtown
Cost: $25 per person - all proceeds directly benefit Killuminati rescues

Become a Guardian Angel!

For just $25, you can choose a dog to sponsor as their guardian angel. As their angel, you will receive a picture and profile of your special pooch - stay up to date on your special friend - and find out when they are adopted by their forever family! Your special friend will show everyone that they have a guardian angel with a designated “My Angel Loves Me” sign at all adoption events and on the KF wesbite. To become a guardian angel or for more information, email Britni at secretary@kfdogs.org - or join through the PayPal drop down link to the left.

The Killuminati Foundation did not begin as a rescue group; however, we’ve responded to the need. In Missouri had 295, 723 dogs end up in animal control/shelters in 2008 alone – compared to the 193,001 in 2007 – that means there were 102,722 MORE dogs in just one year that found themselves sitting on death row in Missouri (and only 2,326 more adoptions.) The three animal control locations with the highest euthanization rates in the state (ranging from 70-90% each) are all located within about an hour and a half from us. The Killuminati Foundation tries to focus on locations with high euthanization rates, and the dogs that typically don’t stand a chance once they are in animal control – IE, the black dogs, the injured/sick dogs, and pitbulls. We want to help all dogs by getting them healthy, rehabilitated, and adopted into their forever homes to live a long, happy life. We also offer vet assistance to families in Greene, Christian, Taney, & Stone County with a dog suffering from a life threatening illness or procedure. Funding is granted based on availability, need, and approval voted upon by the KF Board of Directors. For more information, click on the Vet Help tab or email us at inspirelives@yahoo.com to get an application.

Where does the name Killuminati come from?!

The name of our foundation is inspired by the second dog I rescued - Killuminati - we called her Nati (pronounced Knot-eee) for short. She was a stray for six months, and therefore had a very strong will. She was absolutely stunning - just gorgeous. She died just a few months after her first birthday. It was devastating, but she has inspired me to start this foundation in her memory.  (Nati is pictured below as well as the top of the website.)Her namesake comes from the African philosophy representing a Global Revolutionary change. A spiritual awareness, a mental change, a physical change, and a change in your destiny. Killuminati initiates change in the mind, body, and spirit. We must know from whence We came, how We came to be lost, how to get back, and how not to stray again.  ”You must first recognize the need to change. This does not necessarily imply that there is anything wrong with the way you are. It means you are willing to do better and be better at whatever it is you do.” IYANLA VANZANT
